What is Joint Computer Science and Biology ?

Computer Science and Biology is an interdisciplinary program combining the practicality of computer science with the scientific applications of biology, which makes it a flexible major that opens a lot of different job paths. Students are fully prepared for possible careers in the tech industry in the future, while also leaving graduate school options open. As biological research continues to involve the analysis of large datasets, a strong programming and math background can allow students to participate in research and their knowledge to biological topics.
